C70 C70 2004

Hello, I am looking for opinions here, this time I don't need technical help. This is something of an opinion poll. The question is:

Would a red Volvo C70 convertible be a ladies' car to you at first glance?

Give me your honest opinion, shoot from the hip. I know, however that if one has that notion in mind already, that car or virtually any car can be seen that way.

Let the survey BEGIN!!

THanks. Doug

Only in Texas. A REAL Texan guy would have a black one with black interior, like getting branded in the hot sun.

    Something wrong with red?

No, nothing wrong with red. I have had multiple red cars, MG, Triumph, and my last Volvo, a 1998 S90 which was a dark red metallic. This C70 is bright red, but it's maybe more the cabrio combined with red that might put it in the realm of a chick car. I just came back from driving it, my shop is closed until Tuesday so an evaluation by my Volvo guy will have to wait. But he said check the operation of the top and the window regulators which I did and all seemed well, the top is new and sealed up tight.

Not the black on black True Texan Volvo that would sear a profile image of the Marlboro man into by back but it may have to do...

Good driving position, plenty of power, the turning radius is really very large, I was surprised, U-Turns will be fewer for sure. Outwardly it looks very nice almost pristine. 70,XXX miles.

I also did a quick survey of close colleagues and friends and the answer to my initial post was either "No", or "What?"...

        Doug,

Just paint "F-150" on the back end and you should be OK.

Hey I live in Fort Worth and drive a gold V70. Talk about a girly car!!!
