As I mentioned in my prior posts, I suspected a connection between a low pressure tire warning and my keys not unlocking the car's doors.

When I set proper pressure on all 4 tires and took a short - 1/4 mile ride - the tire pressure warning went off and my keys started unlocking the doors.

I discussed this with my son-in-law, a Subaru tech he told me that in Subies, the same computer runs the door locks and the tire monitoring system.

This makes some sense because both are wireless.

No one at Lovering Volvo or Volvo of North America had any information on this matter.

V of NA does not discuss technical items, but the rep told me to ask the service manager to call their tech line.

If I find out anything, I'll let the Board know.
