2007 s80 new model, issues? S80 2007

Looking at '07 - '09 S80s for my daughter. Found a clean, low mile '07 but it's service history shows control arms replaced. Was there an issue with them? Any mechanical changes in the '08 - '09? Only interested in the 3.2 I6.

Erwin

Replacing the control arms was a good idea. It's a known on all these cars. The bushings don't last. Instead of pressing new bushings the entire arm is replaced. Shops do this all the time.
