can anybody answer my query in previous posting about timing belt tensioner cap?...not driving car until I can get some input.....did I totally goof my repair?

    What cap? I have only 'reused' hydraulic tensioners. Do new ones, in the blue box, come with caps? Obviously, on only one end as the other hooks on to the roller arm.

      using same tensioner...got belt kit, with new belt, idler and tensioner pulleys...also came with new cap...afraid I inserted opposite to direction intended, worried about overtensioning belt....
