Hi All,
I have noticed a few comments about V70's saying the model years 2000 and 2001 are not that good , so whats the issue or issues ?
As always your thoughts are much appreciated

2000 is OK, 2001-2002 are not because of the 5 speed auto trans. 1999 and 2000 had problems with the ETM, but those should have been sorted by now on any used car.

Best year? 2007.

Issues on the early 2000`s? Chief among them was transmission issues. My sister bought a 2001 V70 after being very impressed with my 855T. She loves the car & still has it all these years later but had major tranny issues at 120K. She`s a soccer Mom type so drives very conservatively.
