All,

I need to replace my SMI power steering in my newly acquired S70 as yesterday while replacing a torn boot I discovered through Klausc here on the brickboard that I have a bad seal on the Passenger side of the rack.

So if any of you have done this before and you can pass along any reputable names of businesses that sell good quality re-manufactured racks I would greatly appreciate it.

Try Jorgens. They are the best for re-manufactured racks for RWD Volvos.

I had s=same problem on my '98...sourced rebuilt unit through CarSteering.com....price was reasonable, excellent customer service, quick cheap shipping, and timely credt for my core...8k and a year later, quite happy...but note...rebuilds are rebuilt volvo units, but new one they offer are chinese manufacture...
