Hello all, I need your help.

My local Mechanic noted to me that the front end ball joints are worn and need replacement. I cannot find my Chilton's manual to research the issue so I'm asking all you. How many ball joints are there? 2,4? I can buy that part cheaply online and my mechanic is OK with that. What is the configuration and how many shall I buy?

V70 would have 2 lower ball joints. The price of the ball joints probably reflects the quality. If you don't mind paying for labor and alignment again and again, cheap ones are well worth the price. No wonder your mechanic is okay with that...
