I have a V70 2004. A couple of times I was going about 30 m/h and wanted to turn into another street. At the last moment I had to slow down and make sharp turn that suddenly engine stopped. I had to shift into park and start the engine again. Other than that car runs great. I am concern if this happen again someone might hit me in the back or something else. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

See if it stalls while cornering in neutral.

It will restart in "N" also. Check your engine mounts. The sudden shift may pull on a wire, so check the cables from the battery to the starter and alternator.
