Is the powertrain in the 2010 V70R the same as in the standard V70? 3.2liter NA i6? There are the cosmetic differences and the twin tailpipes but all I've found indicates that the engine is just the standard 3.2. I was hoping for the T6 and a bump in power over the standard.

Nice looking car but is it the sheep in wolf's clothing?

There were 3 V70 engines, the 3.2 NA, 3.2 light pressure turbo, and the 3L Turbo. The last produced about 300 bhp and 400 lbs torque, the go fast car like the older T5.

The "R" badge was purely cosmetic, seats, trim, etc. I thought only the 3L could be badged with the "R", but that goes back aways. Since 1998, the "R" was AWD only.
