Which FOB for 1999 V70? V70-XC70

Picked up used v70 that only came with 1 key.

Local dealer quoted $60 for key & cutting plus about $30 to program. Which from other posts sounds OK. I'm hoping that if I have a used FOB when the programming is going on that it will be relatively cheap (as in free or another $30) to also program it.

I've seen a couple that say they fit a 1999 v70, but have different part #s and different FCC #s. Is there a way to be sure I get a compatible FOB?

Thanks.

As far as I know, the numbers on the remote must match. Even then, call the dealer first before you buy one and see if it is even possible. Service "techs" are not always the most knowledgeable. $60 for a blank key sounds high and $30 for programming sounds cheap.

A remote is nice to have as the passenger side doesn't unlock with a key. But if you don't know what came with the car, it will be very hard to match the original. Dealer may be close to $100 for a new remote.
