rear differential leak V70-XC70 2000

Good evening people.

My '00vr has wetness/slow leak at the rear differential. How difficult is it reseal the rear differential?
Currently im running fwd until i get the driveshaft replaced and reinstalled.

    If the diff is leaking from the front seal, probably caused by a wobbling prop shaft, the seal can be replaced. It requires a good bit of torque to remove the pinion gear.

    If there is noise from the diff due to low oil, I would look for a junk yard version to replace it.

      suck out the old fluid, replace with new 70/90 viscus stuff. Use new washer on bolt. Bet that solves it.
