IPD says this about my 2002 S60. "These models have two brake rotor diameter options: 286mm & 305mm"

Is there a way to know by looking which size is on my car?

    measure the diameter of the rotor, 11.5 = 288 and 21.25 =305. The pads are also different sizes depending on the rotor. The "R" model has larger, 320mm brakes, front and rear.

      I never would have guessed that the same sedan model would have different sized rotors and brake pads.

        There were also three different rim sizes (15/16/17") depending on whether you have the plain Jane model or something sportier. I don't think you can have a large rotor with a small rim due to caliper/rim interference.

        Current rides: 2005 Volvo S80 2.5T, 2003 Volvo V70 2.4NA, 1973 Volvo 1800ES (fixed the ignition - now back to the brakes again)
