Clock spring V70-XC70 2003

Hi All,
I think I probably know the answer but can anyone tell me if a steering column clock spring on a 98 V70 would fit an 03 V70?
Thanks

I seriously doubt it. The 2001+ cars also incorporate steering angle which the 1998 doesn't have.

      Thanks as always Klaus!
Do you think that an 01 V70 clockspring would be compatible with an 03 V70?

Should be. Look up the part and compare part numbers. Tasca volvo web site might be useful.

What I have found Klaus is that clock springs are extremely expensive even as second hand parts and that there is a range even within similar models. Need the VIN and even part number to ensure the right one.
