New car but cd player doesn't work - where to buy one V50

Ok so we finally found a V50 that is a 9.5 out of 10. We had to look very hard for any blemishes, the engine bay was immaculate and then we tried our CD into the CD player. Well there was already a CD in there and it wouldn't come out. Not a deal killer for us and we bought the car.

I searched Crutchfield but they didn't have anything for a 2007 Volvo V50.

I see OEM head units on e-bay but it would be nice to get a new unit with bluetooth etc.

I'm starting to think that because of the way the panel is set up that the only thing that will work is an OEM?

Any ideas?

Check this out. It looks like it allows for a standard single DIM radio install:

Thanks

That kit is helpful.

I am wondering if this would fit and work?

The issue I see in any third party application is this:

The OEM radio screen is more than just for showing radio stations, etc. It also shows car set-up modes, fan speeds, etc.

SO as long as the thiird party screen would show the set-up application it would be good to go.
