Just looking for some input from you regarding what are the best years for the V50 or are there any "Best Years" ?

Consumer Reports doesn't like the 2005 V50's and S40's.

A friend has a 2011 V50 and likes it very much, but she likes her 2011 V70XC better...:)

I don't think there are any 'best' years, but newer is always better. Have you seen the new V60s?
