Check Engine light V70-XC70

I have a 99 Volvo V70 and my check engine light is flashing. When I read the code, it says multi- cylinder misfire. I changed spark plugs and coils. It runs better, but I'm still getting a flashing check engine light. By the way, I'm using A/C plugs. What plugs do better in this Model? I've used NGK, Bosch, Auto light. This car is on the road a lot. Please advise.

Thanks

If your car is a turbo, copper core plugs are best. In the back of the owner's manual is list of 2 plugs that will fit your car, one being Volvo's brand.

Your problem may not be just plugs, it could be the coils. Before setting P0300, multiple misfire, you should also get codes P0301-305. Those are for individual misfires, cyl #1 - #5. Find out which cylinders are not working correctly, and swap coils with those that are working. If the P030x moves to a former good cylinder, then the coil that was moved is not working correctly.

Thanks for the answer. The codes that I am getting is P0350(Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction and P0353 (Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction. All coils are new accept #5. I think it might be the plugs. I just changed the plugs A/C's. I also sand blasted the pugs because they were kind of black indicating improper firing. That's why I ask about the best plugs. I'll do what you suggested.

      Thanks again.
