HELP: Inter. Lighting 850 1995

In the last two days I've been having major problems with my Interior lighting. It seems whenever I close my door or lets say close my hood with the interior lights on it blows a fuse. Currenly there is a 10AMP fuse which is what Volvo recommends. I've (which is not a good thing todo) placed a bigger fuse in there but it still blow whenever the car shutters (shutters = closing the hood, doors, etc). Does anyone have any idea what it could be? The only other thing on that fuse is the alarm and I don't think that's it. Idea's? Tmp Fixes? Perm Fixes? Help I can't afford a fuse everytime I close the door.

    Something is shorting to ground and causing the problem. If the alarm has a motion sensor and that is now bad, that could do it. Try disconnecting the alarm if possible. Also, close the door VERY gently--does it still blow? If not, i'd suspect the motion sensor. Otherwise it is a hot wire touching ground somewhere. These can be hard to find. The most logical approach is to isolate the circuits (door lights, alarm, etc.) on that fuse and test them individually. Good luck.

        It depends on what kind of alarm it is. If it is a volvo alarm, contact the dealer. If it is aftermarket,contact the installer.

            No, i don't. Contact the dealer. Remember if you can close the door VERY gently and it does not blow i would suspect this sensor to be the culprit.
