Chipping or boosting the LPT C70 2000

Anyone have any info on the ramifications of boosting the LPT because of the 2.4 vs. the 2.3 engine? I'd like to get an ECU when they come out but I figure Volvo knew best when making the HPT 2.3 litres. I've already added the exhaust, a dual stainless tip and K&N, I need more power for this heavier car.
