IPD parts quality C70 1999

I am interested in purchasing a few things from IPD, and I was wondering about quality and/or anything else I should be concerned about. I want to but sport springs, and an anti-sway bar. Have any of you heard anything about them? Good or bad?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Re: IPD parts quality 850 97R

I've gotten about 6 boxes from IPD since February. All items are top quality... BUT yesterday I got the black mesh 850 Grill and am not sure on the thing being worth $155.

what a product is worth has nothing to do with how much it will cost you. Its worth just as much as people will pay.

I've had overall good experience with IPD except for the upper motor mount, I had to hammer and bend the metal Volvo part to fit the IPD part. ('94 850 Turbo)

I've bought several sets of swaybars and other suspension bits from IPD over the years and have always been very satisfied. Everything that they have manufactured for themselves (swaybars, springs, ect) is always of the highest quality. Granted, they're a bit pricey at times but when I need parts and add-ons I usually try IPD before I look anywhere else.

Re: IPD parts quality C70 1999

I have purchased wiring harness for the side turn signals form IPD. The product was of very good quality (presumably, it is their own design and manufacture using all Volvo connectors, etc.). They are a good outfit with good reputation among the Volvo community. Their stuff tends to be a little more expensive sometimes, but without a doubt, what you get for the difference is rock solid backing of the stuff they sell.

    Cheers.

The parts I have purchased from them are well known brands

like Bosch so I've had no problems.

Others have reported very good service. As an example, a while

back IPD had some problems with sway bars breaking and they did

a good job of managing the issue and keeping everyone happy.

IPD has a very good reputation for customer satisfaction. I

would not hesitate to purchase anything from them (and they would

be my choice for an ECU or other upgrades).

On occasion, they even post on this board so you might even see

a follow-up form IPD staff to your question.
