interior door panel material S70 1998

My 98' S70 has the material inside the door panel (where you rest your arm) pulling away from it's backing (I'm sure I'm not the only one). I wondered if anyone out there has a resonable cheep way to fix this?

Thanks

Re: interior door panel material S70 1998

I had this too.....

The dealer replaced this under Warranty.... It took a little while for them to come in and they ended up breaking the trim panel around my doorhandle and burning out my power mirror switch but with a couple more visits everything was good as new.

You may want to see if the dealer will order the trim piece that goes around the door ahead of time with the door panels.... Might save you some time if they break one (or get screwdriver marks on it from removing it).

Robert...

It is a know Volvo issue. Lots of people had this. Bad glue, apperantly. I believe there is a TSB on this and the dealer will replace the door pannels at no charge.

Good luck.
