CV axel CPassanger side carrier bearing V50

Hello, I am replacing the CV boot on the passenger side of my V50. I noticed a small tear in the boot when I was replacing my brakes. I purchased an OEM Volvo boot kit. I was wondering as long as the CV is off I would like to replace the carrier bearing also . Is this possible? I would like to keep the stock OEM axel .
Thanks

The carrier bearing is in 2 parts and you will probably want to take it off while you are putting a new boot on. Check it for wear, as they do last a long time and are not cheap.

No, I do not know the torque values.

BTW, the correct spelling for axle.

Thanks, I will order one today. The wagon has 154,000, so I am sure it will be needed soon. Sorry for the typo.
