Ignition key area lit all the time Might be related to previous question see below S80 1999

Same '99 S80 T6. I'm told there is a glowing light by the Ignition key. His stays on all the time. It will kill the battery. It only goes out when car is started.
Any help would be great.

I had this problem in my S70, which of course is a different platform. Anyway, as odd as this sounds, I think it was solved by cycling the interior light switches near the mirror. There was no interior light on at the time, but one of the switches was not fully toggled.
