Oil pressure port to measure oil pressure V70-XC70 2004

My 2.4 litre has a tapered metric pipe plug (20mm X 1.5mm pitch with a 10mm allen hex) is plugging a hole to the left (passenger side) of the oil filter at the bottom of the oil pan.

Does this plug seal access to the pressure side of the oil gallery?

I want to install a tap to run a pressure line to around the top of the rad. I did this with all my 740/940's to quickly check oil pressure.

Have I got the right plug?

ian

Thanks, link shows good site for parts.

Still curious about the taped hole to the left (facing the car front) of the oil filter. It enters from the passenger side of the car.
You could see a casting bulge indicating it went somewhere but I couldn't fish
anything through to somewhere I could see.

      Anyone?

I dont know what plug your referring to, but every time i've ever hooked up an oil pressure gauge i used the car's oil pressure sensor location, removed the oil pressure sensor and screwed in my own adaptor.
