How to program remotes ??? S40-V40 2000

Bought my Volvo V40 used. It came with remotes that are not programed.

Can anyone help me with this.

      I got one to work is evening by turning key to on & holding lock & unlock buttons on remote for 25 seconds. Now I need the secret for the second remote.

        I was told you do both remotes together.
