I just started noticing to day that if I hammered on the gas, for a split second a red light game on in the warning insturment cluster. I kept missing what it was. Anybody have any ideas, Is it the battery light?

I get a red coolant light upon strong acceleration too. Sometimes wiper fluid. Startled me too, first time it happended.

Low coolant, low wiper fluid, low brake fluid could come on if they were on the edge of being low, and then the angle change on the car when hammering the gas, could for a moment turn the light on. I think the alternator/battery light is on the right side of the cluster, put the key in position II and look at the lights, then try to remember????

That it easy enough i don't know why i didn't think of looking at the lights in start up. One of those days i guess(slap upside the head) I don't think is washer though i think that is orange. I will have to see
