Rear shocks 850 1993

I have 140k on my 850 and I am about to replace the rear shocks again. I have never replaced the shock mounts. Do they have to be replaced? How do I know if they are worn out? Thanks.

    The rear shocks don't have mounts like the front struts do.

    I replaced my 850's rear shocks with KYB brand units and I like their ride better than the OEM ones the car came with.

    The normal indication that you need shock mounts is when going over slight bumps the mount will squeek/chirp/squeel (add your own discriptive word), if they aren't making noise then they are more than likely OK.

      Where can you buy just the shock mounts? I just recently lowered my 98 s70, and the rear shocks are squeaking like crazy. I think the shocks are ok.
