Upper mount bushing Terror V70-XC70

I need some help of a recommendation for a motor mount bushing:

I had trouble with a motor mount bushing not fitting, I found after I came to fit it that the diameter is smaller and sized for a 98 only,
I had two smaller products (Oil cooler seals + copper washers) that were incorrect and not the correct parts, like an angle gear drain plug washer that was only 10mm in diameter, and tiny little oil cooler seals tha fit nowhere. Then, when the motor mount happened I realize I have to search out details.
FCP looked at my VIN, and this is what I need:
http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-engine-torque-rod-mount-30680770-1
really?
There's a part number in there that reads 8649597

In Swedishautoparts that product shows 'up to vin 190260'
http://www.swedishautoparts.com/XC70/Volvo-XC70-motor-mounts.html#linkbar

My VIN is 26435**

I bought a bushing once. It was aftermarket and failed. I used the smaller diameter bushing which easily slipped in and out with 1mm clearance all round. I filled it with a fillet of bicycle wheel inner tube. It vibrates on highways. Sort of rattle your teeth so not pleasant. But, it is sufficient.

My question then is:
Is this the new style to buy a full aluminium mount? I would prefer the bushing.
Can you recommend?

What year is the car? If a 1999, then the FCP OE mount is correct and the bushing is not renewable.

    IPD shows 2 different mounts:

      Klaus,

When speaking of their poly bushing mount kits for that upper bushing, the IPD site says, "The original mount requires a special Volvo press tool for removal and installation."

That makes it sound like the original bushing is available without the aluminum housing. I see you are saying it is not, and my local Volvo said it is not.

Any idea where IPD got the idea that it is, and furthermore that there is a special Volvo tool for replacing it?

      Charley

The same mount was used from 93-98 and the bushing was replaced in those. In 99, the mount changed. It is possible to replace the bushing in the 99, but Volvo did not supply a bushing, as far as I know. R&r of the entire mount is a 10 minute job, much simplier than a mechanic spending time on removing and pressing in a new bushing.

Thank you everyone. I called IPD and need part number 111086 which is :

A bit of difference between 98 and 99.
I did buy a 99 rubber bushing a couple of years ago, they look obsolete now. Never mind, polyurethane is the go.
*For removal of old rubber bushings we need a hacksaw blade as the special tool which cuts into the circumference.
