I am wondering if it is possible to have a used (from a pick-and-pull) remote key fob reprogrammed to my car ('98 V70). Is this possible? Can I do it myself?

Sorry, dealer programming only. and they charge mega bucks for the 'service' that takes 10 minutes. Keep the remote in case you break the outer shell, then you can swap the working parts to the other remote.

Check the model number on the back. All 1998's are usable, but programming costs an arm and leg. Lots of people break the case, but replacing just the case is not a hassle. Ebay has them in multiple colors.
