considering 2001 s60 S60 2001

I'm going to look at an 01 S60 with 152k miles on it. looks super clean in pics inside and out (minus the passenger headlight wiper missing). I'm a little nervous possibly picking up such an old car, especially considering the transmission issues i've read about in the 01/02 volvo's.

A couple things i'm going to look at/ask about are: transmission (any slipping between gears), strut/sway bar issues/sounds, and belts and plugs... any other suggestions for things to take a look at or ask about?

seller is asking 3k, but KBB says 2200 for "very good condition". considering to offer 2500.

thoughts, anyone?

Thanks

the S60 issues I have experience with are the struts going out, the engine being susceptible to overheating, and steering problems, due possible to the fact that these are front wheel drive.
I would think that the maintenance issues on these cars would be dependent on diligence of the scheduled service, and the use of quality fluids and parts. Generally these cars run well, have a good longevity record.
