Hi, does this vehicle take any differential fluid? Is there an oil location back there I am supposed to be checking?

Yes, there is diff oil. There is a fill hole in the diff, but no drain plug. "If" you decide to flush it, get a litre from the dealer $$, drive the car to warm up the diff oil, get a long plastic tube (1 meter), insert it down the fill hole till you think it is at the bottom, carefully suck on the end, and when the fluid is just below the diff, let the siphon action drain into a container.

Unless you do a lot of twisty/windy road travel, I wouldn't bother. It should last for at least 200K miles.
