The lights that illuminate the temperature settings in the climate control panel in my wife's 2001 V70 have burned out for the most part.

Are these lamps replaceable after opening up the climate control console?

Yes. And not too difficult either. It did it to my 850 a year ago, but I forgot if I rigged in micro bulbs from radio shack or if I just happened to have spares laying around from the instrument cluster.
