Re: Trip/Odometer not working after reset 850 1995

3c,

It is no coincidence that the trip & odometer are not working at the same time. The speedometer is electrical receiving data from the ECM. The ECM is receiving data from an inductive sensor sending a signal to the odometer/trip meter and speedometer. Is the speedometer not working as well?

If not, then I would suspect the sensor and/or connection. If the speedometer is working but the odometer and trip meter are not working only as you say, then I'm stumped. One more thing, the trip computer has a self diagnosis built in...when a function is selected and you get a display that says 'DISC', it means that function is disconnected.

I have 1994 850 which did the same thing with 87,000. Found a shop in Dallas that could repair it to the tune of $250.00 The motor driving gears was bad
