Hi all. This is my first post on the 850 board. I just purchased a 95 850 turbo sedan. Although I have owned many Volvos, this is my first front wheel drive vehicle. I am looking for any tips on service and maintenance

and any problems I might run into.

The car has only 37k miles on it and seems to run very good. It did not come with an owners manual so I'm not sure as to maintenance schedules.

Also, does anybody know where I can get a used volvo cd changer for this car?

...had a problem w/my '95 T-5R unit, Volvo Dealers sell rebuilt units with a 1 Year Warranty. GOOD LUCK !

While your checking Ebay for the cd changer, look for the service manual too. I saw a complete owners manual kit for 95 Volvo (including service manual) just the other day. Try "Volvo manual" as your search query. Hope this helps.

Welcome to FWD ownership! What previous Volvos have you owned? Someone posted a few days ago of an auction on ebay for a new changers. I think the high bid at that point was $225. Also, in the same thread, someone posted that there is a promo in effect for changers from Volvo, I think. Regarding maintenance schedules, I think the Haynes manual is a good place to start. I got mine at amazon but ipd sells them too.

I've owned several 122s, 1800s, 140s and whole bunch of 240s. I never get too attatched to them, although there were a couple I wish I still had. I like to tinker with them and then sell them. Thanks for the info.
