REPLACING A 20020 V70 HEATER BLOWER V70-XC70 2002

Hello Folks;
I've been keeping a low profile and my daughter has traded her '92 740 Wagon for a 2002 V70 5 cylinder turbo wagon. Perfect car for the past two years now the heater blower has stopped working. Can anybody tell me how hard/easy it is to change? Where is it located, I hope it is not like my son's 240 . . .
Regards;
Mike

    From 1993-2000 the blower motor is behind the glove box and quite easy to replace. Be sure to check the fuse first.

    Give this thread a good look:

    Shop around! Tasca wants $227.84 + shipping and $104.30 for a power relay.

      Hello Klaus;
      Job done, once rhe weather moderated and I warmed up the carpet locally with a heat gun I was able to gain access and get the job done.
      Thanks Again
      Mike

      Hello Klaus;
      Thanks for the advice, I have located the blower and was in the process of getting it out. I bought a low mileage used one on E-Bay for $40.00 and once the weather moderates here I will finish the job. It is -22C here and having just broken a brittle piece of trim due to the cold I will wait until the weekend.
      Thank you very much
      Mike
