Happy Holidays All!

My 95 wagon has the the OBD 1 setup under hood. I noticed that there a small OBD 2 inscription near the shifter. Does this mean that a scanner can be used on this car too? If so, how do I access it?

I have read that some '95s have the coin tray plug, but it does not work.

You might borrow an auto store scanner to see if it works before you make any investment.

I have also read that the Volvo OBD 1 set up under the hood may actually give you more codes than a generic OBD 2 scanner.

Simple as pulling up the coin tray. I think there's a little tab on the front side of it.
I use an OBDII scanner on our '95 on occasion.
