would like to add a light that comes on when trunk is opened...anyone done this?

Once you find the switch for your trunk light, you might want to shut it off when you do not need it because if it acts up, it could drain your battery.

Easy enough to check, just open the pass through behind the armrest or flip the seat forward a little to see if the light is on.

I have been known to put a large carboard box in the trunk and have a corner of the box touch the light switch and turn it off. It took a while to figure out why the light no longer worked!

Therre should already be a light in the trunk. Just turn the dial and let there be light.

okay Klaus...I'll have to do a bit of pokin' around, since it's always been dark when trunk opened since I got car...

If I'm not mistaken the 850's have trunk lights. I think my 1994 has a light with a dial to adjust the brightness. Not sure, I'll take a look in the morning.
