Found a pair of new Sachs Super Touring struts from a '02 V70 for cheap in the boneyard today. I want to swap and install them on my wife's '04 XC70. Everything I've read says they are a drop in swap. Can those with more smarts than me confirm this?

What kind of V70 is in the bone yard? Remember that the XC is a couple of inches higher than a FWDer. I think you will find them incompatable.

'02 V70. Just the plain Jane wagon, not the higher riding XC.
