High beams do not stay on XC90 2004

When I toggle the stalk, the high beams come on and the blue indicator light illuminates on the console, but the lights do not stay on when I let go of the stalk. (Basically, they "flash," but that's all). Any thoughts? Thanks

your xc90 has day time running lights, turn on your headlights at the switch and your high beams should stay on, had the same trouble when we got our xc70, enjoy.

Not too sure about P2 cars, but most often you need to first turn on the headlights, at the switch. Really new cars require the turn signal stalk to be pushed forward to get high beams and pulled back for flash (auto headlights).
