850 with 700/900 interior? 850 97 T5

There is an 850 listed on ebay as a touring model. Check out the pic of the interior. It has the same door panels, door mounted window switches, dash layout and leather seat pattern as my old 740's. Just thought it was weird. Any ideas?

I think the dude took a shot of a 700-series interior. That is definitely not the interior of an 850. Check out the missing white sticker stripe that runs just under the crease in the close up interior shot.

Re: 850 with 700/900 interior? 850 93

Very odd, look at the armrest, not the one fitted to a 700. The interior is definatly from a 700, it doesnt have the 900s updated seats. Either its a picture of a different car or its some kind of euro model done at the factory. I dont think it would be possible to retrofit a 700 interior into an 850 because of size, shape, drivetrain layout etc. The link is at the bottom of the page for any who want to look.

Re: 850 with 700/900 interior? 850 93

That's because it is a shot from the interior of a 700....look at the area just where the glass starts at the door...notice the black molding? 850s did not have this molding, also, the car in the picture has side striping, the interior shot shows none. The 700 interior will not fit in an 850 anyways, there are enough changes to the firewall, and width (etc.) for it not to fit w/o some heavy duty work.
