I'm looking at purchasing a 2000 xc vehicle. What are some of the things that I should be concerned with on this model year?
Also, how much of a 1996 Volvo 850 GLT Wagon vehicle is interchangeable for use in the 2000 V70 awd XC? Before I send off the 1996 Volvo to a junk yard I'd like to strip it of all that I could use in the 2000 vehicle. This way I have a supply of replacement parts. Let me know. Thanks.

and check the ATF for color.

As for parts from an 850 -> 2000 XC, not a whole lot. The body and interior are all different. The dash and console plastic are black in the 850 and gray in the 70. The wheels will swap, the block but not the head.
