Taillight lens compatibility 850

Have a '96 850 wagon.
Saw nice set of taillight lenses on a '98 V70 at the pick and pull
Dimensionally, they looked the same. Are they?
Part numbers on various website show them to be different, but that could just indicate a difference in lens colors.

Can I use the V70 lens assemblies on my 850?

    The upper tail light lenses are interchangeable, just that the V70 uses a yellow bulb. The lower lenses are not.

    Many of the 850 lenses get destroyed by the sun, the V70 last longer.

    Remember, just 1998-2000 V70s.
