muffler replacement help V70-XC70

I am trying to replace the one piece muffler pipe on my daughters 1999 V70 fwd non turbo, any tips on how to get the clearance with jack stands so i can install the pipe over the rear axle.

    I replaced the muffler on a 1995 854, same problem. My jackstands extended to 24 inches and I could have used an other inch. I suppose I could have scrounged around and found a 6X6 block of wood to put the jack stand on...

    BTW, once up in the air, keep your floor jack at a good point for a safety net. I just don't like being under cars...

      Klaus thank you for your help, i wasn't even close to 24".

        I was able to get the rear muffler onto the '95 854T with 9" blocks under the tires.
        It did take some twisting, but eventually I got it.
