ALL,

Recently picked up a 96 855R, LOVE IT!!!!! The ODO stopped at 245K,(I have the repair gears). I am going to put new struts on for sure, being that I am not sure of the condition of other parts in that area, what should I plan on replacing while I am in there.

Were you able to get the actual mileage of your car? My odometer broke at 187,000 and if I go through the trouble to replace the gear it would be nice to reset the odm..

Check the motor mount on the front end of the engine. If it hasn't been replaced it probably is worn out.

HD endlinks if you can even move them by hand slightly. HD spring mounts. With that many miles, check all of the bushings.

Before you repl the odo gear, get a friendly Volvo mechanic to read the instrument panel and get the actual mileage.
