Cracked manifold - Repair or Replace? 850 1994

It's cracked above the basket. I think it might be cracked below as well.

I can get an all-welded on new one for around $140. Would it be worth it have this one repaired?

A really good welder might be able to save it, but for how long? The usable metal might be a bit on the thin side. FCP has a 'new' one for just over $200:

You might need some new bolts and gasket set. At least the access is easier than the turbo models.

Weld repairs are in that area are not forever and sometimes never work. Since it will take some labor to remove and reinstall, I would go with a new one. Why repeat the process if the repair welds fail in a few months. This Ebay link has some brand new ones for around $140.

Thanks, I was considering one of those specifically.

I've never trusted mended cast-iron, but for certain vintage applications it's acceptable.
