Proximity Sensor going off all time time while in reverse V70-XC70 2007

I got a service message that my proximity sensor needed servicing a few weeks ago and then it went away. But now, every time I'm in reverse, the sensor goes off (high pitch squeal) for the entire time I am in reverse. I know I can turn it off while in the car but I want to know how to permanently disable it or if anyone has experienced this before and there is some wire I could wiggle.

Thanks!

In need of service means that one or more has stopped working. Now, one is clogged, either by ice, snow, or dirt and thinks that you are up against something.

They are not that difficult to replace, although I have never done it to one of my cars. I am just thinking of the hourly charge the dealer would want $$$.

Pushing the button after start is a reasonably cheap fix.
