Fuel Pressure Sensor S60

Local shop wants $360 to replace the fuel pressure sensor on my 2004 S60. Is this price good or bad?

Sensor for Turbo = $160; Non-turbo = $105.

I've went through this with the wife's 05 S80 about a year. Now I have to replace it on my 03 V70. On both of our cars it's the easiest part under the hood to access - located right on the end of the fuel injector rail. I'll bet your 2004 S60 is the same. Buy the sensor and a new o-ring and do it yourself.

If this is the correct part:

And the dealer charges MSRP: $195.89
OE Numbers:30756097 and FCP charges $179.99, then add the cost of labor which is way over $100 in the Twin Cities, and you have your estimate.

I do not know where the sensor is located, but it should be relatively easy to repl if it is in the engine compartment. Then again, looking under the bonnet of the S60s, there could be a lot of plastic to remove...

I'm not covered by the recall.
