Do any one know when did Ford take over Volvo?? what year ?? 850 1994Turbo

Just like to know when was Ford buy out Volvo how long have it been

    late 1998, Ford has not done any changes to volvo as some people think. All ford did was add funding to volvo and their new swedish test facility. THe testing plant will be used by other european ford owned companys. All of the changing vehicle changing was already in the mix before ford came, but volvo did not have the funds.

    June 1999. Still no Ford involvement in Volvo products.
