Might just have to get a change of heart. Put a new set of tires on it today and what a difference. No more lurching and pulling. Quiet as a grave. Just might become a pretty good old car.

Selling your piece of junk to an unsuspecting person for $4K is highway robbery!!

Before the Bush Republicians changed things, you could have donated to a charity and written off $4K on your taxes. But, too bad, you can only deduct the actual auction price that the charity gets - about $1200. And if you hit the AMT next year, you won't even get to deduct that!

You should have done your homework before buying a 2001. That year can be one of the most troublesome Volvos ever built.

Sorry for the difficulties. At times the cars can frustrate me to death and I can't understand why I own one. Then my son totals his S70 going underneath a guardrail at 70mph and walks away without a scratch. Then I remember one of the main reasons I do drive them. Good luck with the 245.
