For awhile I have had problems with my transmission getting eratic at times. This week I had a new set of tires put on the car and my transmission problems seems to be much better now. Could new tires inprove transmission problems?

4 new tires will reduce the rpms by about 100 at 60mph. If your rear tires were worn more than the fronts that would explain a lot because the bevel gear would be in use more.

Have you had the tranny software updated? When was the last time you flushed the tranny or bevel gear box?

There was more wear difference between front and rear tires. Transmission and bevel gear both need servicing. Updates for the transmission are up to date. Had them checked recently. jb
