Help needed with Volvo accessory fog lights 850 1994

The PO connected them so that they operate on high beam only.

Duh.

Can anybody help me re-connect them so they are on low beam or either beam?

Haynes was no help.

AllData was no help

Paul,

I've got a '93 model which has different headlight bulbs, so this may not apply. If you unscrew the cap over the left headlight connection, the power tap for the relay is actually off the connector for the headlight. The installation instructions showed tapping the low beam for US and the parking lights for the rest of the world. The installation involved cutting wires and crimping a new terminal on so it may not be an easy change. You might need to contact the dealer to get the correct terminals and possibly crimp tools. There's a lot of current flowing through there so you'll need to be sure the connections are sound.
